Submissions are Open!
A city can’t be described by one element. It’s made up of many people and many people create many views of one place.
How do you describe Anaheim through what you see, hear, feel, taste, and touch? Join me and other writers of Anaheim to create a poetry anthology to describe our city in our own words.
An anthology is a collection of poems that usually surround one topic. We’re creating a city anthology of Anaheim through describing this place through our experiences with it.
Were looking for all types of creative writing: poetry, short stories, flash fiction, memoir, and essay! Do not limit yourself because your vision of Anaheim’s past, present, and future matter.
Do you feel intimidated by writing? No worries! We’ll have writing workshops and co-writes to help you feel confident with the poems you write. Stay tuned for more information on creative writing workshops taught by Anaheim’s Poet Laureate.
